I was dependent on substances just to get through the day. Burned out, hopeless and unwell. I couldn’t imagine a future where I was happy.
On my darkest day, I had to make a choice: give up, or try. I chose to try.
- I left my ex.
- I started working out.
- I quit drinking, smoking, vaping, even caffeine.
- I committed to a routine. I built new habits.
I picked up tarot and Reiki. I enrolled in courses for life coaching, grief and bereavement support, and eventually personal training. I burned my life to the ground and started over from scratch.
Brick by brick. Day by day. I started healing.
It was hard. Some days I barely held it together. But I stopped numbing, stopped running, and did the real work. I learned to be consistent. I learned to set boundaries. I learned to help myself first, so I could help others without losing myself in the process.
Dragonflies symbolize death and rebirth. Change and transformation. Messengers from spirit.
A catalyst creates change in something else without being consumed itself. Spiritually, it’s closer to a trigger. A mirror. A chess piece. A ripple. Someone who sparks transformation in others just by being present and authentically themselves, guided to hold up the mirror and show people pieces of themselves.
I’m not the only catalyst. But I am The Dragonfly Catalyst. I legally changed my name to embody this mission completely. There’s no going back, and no forgetting why I’m here.
My goal is to help you do what I did: reset your life. Change your behaviors, your beliefs and your direction. Transmute what was meant to destroy you into fuel for your transformation.
Happiness doesn’t have to be a dream. It can be the ground you walk on.
I’m not here to save you. I’m here to walk with you while you save yourself.
- All you have to do is choose it.
- Choose to try.
- Choose today.
- Choose right now.
- Choose yourself.
That act regenerates the world.
